Job Description

We are looking to bring a Plant Superintendent onto the team. The Plant Superintendent will continue to drive the company's culture through Our Philosophy by fostering strong relationships and open communication with the team by focusing on safety and having a people first mindset. The Plant Superintendent will be accountable for Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Cost Leadership and Productivity within the operation. This includes planning for the annual budget, setting facility goals and objectives that cascade with corporate initiatives, as well as a strong focus toward the development of people and overall retention, to secure growth in our business. Responsible for building a team to execute operational objectives, driving transformation and working in collaboration with quality, scheduling, engineering and maintenance.

Senior production manager position. Assist in development of other management team members, take on stretch assignments outside primary responsibilities, assumes duties of Operations Manager in their absence. Demonstrate high energy and enthusiasm in all aspects of the role, serving as a motivator and role model for the production team while partnering with Operations Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

Setting and achieving goals for production, safety, shipping and quality objectives. Holds team accountable for completion of management boards, inventory records, and action items. Oversee and ensure development of Safety policies and procedures toward our goal of zero incidents. Continues to grow the culture through Our Philosophy by focusing on employee development and retention.

Implement and establish objective sales forecast planning and associated manufacturing capacity planning to meet or exceed business development objectives. Develop strategic operation objectives and drive through fruition through planning & implementation.

Talent Management including oversight of performance evaluations to establish 'promotion from within' objectives while achieving cultural and performance standards. Partner with HR for succession planning and workforce planning initiatives.

Ensures the highest quality standards are maintained. Ensure that key internal, external and regulatory requirements are met and exceeded through management quality systems, SQA functions and regulatory compliance. Provides coaching, information, ideas, feedback and encouragement to promote the growth and development of the team, including those in other departments.

Lead the operations team through transformation efforts, cost leadership and reduction of committed capital, to meet planned objectives. MBWA. Verifies lead counter measures and recovery plans are in place for missed targets. Supports new process and production development and implementation.

Ensures clean and safe working environment for all employees. Ensures safety training is complete, hazardous conditions and risks are eliminated, safety incidents are reported and investigated as required.
