Lead Municipal Engineer

Kapur & Associates, Inc., a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm, is seeking an experienced, full time, Lead Municipal Engineer for our Milwaukee office.  The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detail focused and client oriented individual.  This person will provide ongoing business development with existing client base and develop new clients within the Southeastern Wisconsin market.  Additionally, the candidate will perform project management duties and will lead a team developing a variety of Municipal projects including wastewater treatment plant designs and wastewater collection systems.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications :

• BS in Civil Engineering with Wisconsin PE license.
• Fifteen plus years of progressively responsible experience with significant project management including budget and schedule monitoring of municipal projects.
• Experience with relevant permitting agencies and processes.
• Ideal candidate will be a strong leader and have outstanding decision making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  The ability to communicate technical material and information to clients in both formal presentations and impromptu settings is critical.      
• Proven record of client procurement and retention.
